Tip Two - What GPS would I want?
Alot depends on your particular need when selecting a unit. But, for general use I wouldn't want less than what these three units below have to offer. They are worth checking out.
My first choice would be the Garmin e-trex Vista
My second choice would be the Garmin e-trex Legend
My third choice and the one I currently use is the Garmin e-map
Information on these models can be found at the Garmin site. When you buy a unit, find out how to check what version of software it is running. Garmin offers free software updates on their website. This will require a cable interface.
