MedCast does a ProximityCast® on all hospitals in its database or only on the hospitals with the appropriate capability selected. After completing the ProximityCast® MedCast returns a list of the 5 closest facilities with their nautical mile distance from the scene.
You have full control over the database allowing you to enter more facilities, delete existing facilities, or update existing facilities information. The database is keyed on a unique three letter identifier for the facility that can easily coincide with the GPS waypoint identifier your pilot needs to navigate to the facility.
MedCast comes with five preloaded loaded facilities for demonstration purposes. The trial version is fully functional allowing you a generous 100 ProximityCast® instances. The counter only decrements once per entry into the program regardless of how many ProximityCast®s you do.
MedCast is enhanced with its Ez Coordinate Entry feature. Making your difficult job easier is our goal!

Last Coords Button retrieves the coordinates used for the last cast to enable you to recast after exiting the program without re-entering the coordinates.
